Our Breakfast and Afterschool club is available to all children from reception to Year 2. Thames Ditton is our flagship setting which we opened in 1996. The setting has gone from strength to strength and is managed by Sinead and a team of dedicated Playworkers.T
he club is based within the school hall and staff arrange the furniture and equipment to maximize the space and create an engaging play environment. Equipment is freely accessed, and children can adapt the layout for their play needs. The Hall leads directly onto the playground and we make full use the newly constructed climbing wall, slide and environmental area as well as the astrofield, Trim Trail and Pirate Ship to the front of the school.
Staff encourage the children to be creative both inside and out, testing their skills and knowledge of the world by building dens and encouraging other physical and cognitive activities. As well as free play, a daily adult led activity is provided which may be a cooking, craft, quizzes, or a sports activity.
Clubland is open Monday to Friday during term time, although Afterschool club is closed on the last day of each term.
Open from 07:15, we have two session prices:
Both sessions include breakfast, which is served until 08:15.
Running from the end of the school day (2.50) until 18:15, it costs £17.00.
This includes a light snack upon arrival (dietary/cultural preferences are considered).
Sibling discount: We offer a 10% discount on siblings who attend the same sessions.
Weekly discount: We offer a 5% discount for children who attend Breakfast or Afterschool Monday to Friday.
Late fee: A late fee of £1 per minute will be payable up to the first 15 minutes, £30 between 15- 30 minutes late, and £45 thereafter.
Deposit: A deposit of £25 will be taken for all installment plans at the time of booking and will be taken off the outstanding balance.
We take payment via Tax Free Childcare Vouchers (TFC), Company Childcare Vouchers (a full list can be found on our XXX page), or Credit and Debit cards.
All bookings spanning a period of less than 34 days must be paid in full at the time of booking. If your booking is over a period of more than 34 days (i.e. for a term) then you can create an installment plan and pay monthly across the period of your booking. A security deposit of £25 will be taken at the time of booking.
All parents are required to create an account on our online booking system, which is managed by magicbooking. This will allow you to manage your details, view availability and make, pay for and cancel bookings.
Permanent bookings can be booked for the entire academic year and are made online.
Ad hoc bookings are available a week in advance. Availability can be checked online but the booking must be made with Head Office over the phone. An invoice will be raised on the online system and require payment in order to secure the booking.
We require 6 weeks’ notice for cancellations to permanent bookings. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your cancelation so that we can amend your booking and generate a credit for the cancelled period in accordance with our Terms and condition.
No refunds will be given for cancellations to ad hoc bookings.
At our latest Ofsted inspection in 2020, the setting met all the requirements under the new inspection guidelines and 'met' is now the highest rating afterschool clubs can achieve. The inspector comments on how the children are supported extremely well by our staff who are warm and welcoming and excellent role models. She also highlights that the parents she spoke to are highly complementary of the setting and the vast number of different activities on offer and say their children are very happy and enjoy attending Clubland.

In line with school policy, all children are escorted to Clubland by members of the teaching staff and a register is taken. We will share with school a daily register of children attending, but as this is not updated automatically we ask that you log onto your account to reflect an absence of attendance or leave a text message on the site phone.
When you collect your child/ren, you will be required to sign our daily register or during Covid times we will sign out on your behalf provided that you are on the collectors list and we are able to identify you. If you are unknown to staff on collection you will be asked for the password that you nominated on your registration form as a means of identity.
