Holiday Club

Based at Thames Ditton Infant School, our popular Holiday Club runs every school holiday (except Christmas when we take a well deserved break!) for children aged 4*-12. We offer two different programmes; Stay'n'Play and Out'n'About.

Stay'n'Play

This is our core offering, available to children aged 4*-11. As the name suggests, we stay on site and play.

Each holiday we run a different theme which appeals to both boys and girls, young or old, the bold and the shy, those who like making, those who like baking and those who like to play until they drop!

We offer a different craft and cookery activity every single day, which is interspersed with free play and organized sports. The children have free reign on what they choose to do - we just want them to have fun!

We have a range of indoor and outdoor equipment for the children to use during free play and helps them develop their social, emotional and motor skills.

On occasion, we use our company minibuses to take the children out on day trips - often the park or cinema which is always very exciting.

*4 year olds must be in reception, or during the Summer holidays, starting in reception that September.

Out'n'About

Older children (aged 8-12) can sign up to our Out'n'About programe. We take them off site using our company minibuses and offer more challenging activities such as:

  • Abseiling
  • Aqua Park
  • Bowling
  • Canoeing
  • Cinema
  • Climbing
  • Escape Room
  • Ice-Skating
  • Mini Golf
  • Paintballing
  • Trampolining
  • Trips to the park

We try to ensure that we offer a diverse programme to appeal to lots of different children and varying budgets, and as a result will often mix and match the activities with free options such as trips to the park, movie sessions back at base or a more complicated version of the cookery or craft that Stay'n'Play are doing that day.

The cost of taking part in the activity is added to the standard session price, and any discounts cannot be applied to the trip cost.

Location and facilities

The club is based at Thames Ditton Infant School on Speer Road, Thames Ditton, Surrey, KT7 0PW.

We make use of the school hall, Clublands base in the Garden Room and a number of classrooms to ensure each bubble has their own space to hang out in that is filled with equipment relative to their age.

We spend a lot of time outside and the grounds of the school have recently received a complete make-over. The dried-up grass on the field at the front of the school has been replaced by a wonderful carpet of AstroTurf, surrounded by a pirate ship and trim trail. In addition, this has been complimented by a new play area to the rear of the school. This now offers the children a climbing wall, slide, and playhouse again all on a bed of Astroturf and soft play tarmac making these play spaces an area where children can play and explore all year round.
