About Clubland at Long Ditton Infant and Nursery School

Our Afterschool club is available to all children from reception to Year 2. We have been running for several years from this site and our provision has gone from strength to strength due to our dedicated and enthusiastic manager, Mairead and her Deputy, Rosie. They are supported by a wonderful team of Playworkers.

Due to Covid, we are currently located in the school hall, however normally we are based in a spare classroom. This enables the children to thrive in their own school habitat with the opportunity to chill, play, challenge themselves and form closer bonds with their peers. We have a vast array of play equipment and offer a range of adult-led activities each day. In addition, the children have access to the cookery room, playground, field, and Trim Trail.

Staff encourage the children to be creative both inside and out, testing their skills and knowledge of the world by building dens, climbing trees in a supportive environment and encouraging other physical and cognitive activities. As well as free play, a daily adult led activity is provided which may be a cooking, craft, quizzes, or a sports activity.

Opening times and prices

Clubland is open Monday to Friday during term time, although we are closed on the last day of each term.

Running from the end of the school day (15.05) until 18:10, it costs £17.00.

This includes a light snack upon arrival (dietary/cultural preferences are considered).

How to book

All parents are required to create an account on our online booking system, which is managed by magicbooking. This will allow you to manage your details, view availability and make, pay for and cancel bookings.

Permanent bookings can be booked for the entire academic year and are made online.

Please note that Parents are not allowed on site and therefore handover will take place at the school gate. You will be offered a selection of session times to choose from that coincide with a collection time. You have the option to choose different times throughout the week, however you will be required to complete a separate booking for each different session time. For example, create one booking for Tuesdays and Thursdays if collection is at 16:00 and a separate booking for Wednesday if collection is at 17:00. We do not offer discounted rates for shorter sessions as our costs still apply.

Ad hoc bookings are available a week in advance. Availability can be checked online but the booking must be made with Head Office over the phone. An invoice will be raised on the online system and require payment in order to secure the booking.
