About Clubland at Long Ditton Infant and Nursery School

Our Afterschool club is available to all children from reception to Year 2. We have been running for several years from this site and our provision has gone from strength to strength due. Andreja manages this setting and is supported by a team of inspiring Playworkers. Andreja also co manages our hugely popular Holiday Club located at Claygate Primary School.

We are located in 'Rainbow Classroom'. This enables the children to thrive in their own school habitat with the opportunity to chill, play, challenge themselves and form closer bonds with their peers. We have a vast array of play equipment and children have access to the cookery room, playground, field, Hall and Trim Trail.

Staff encourage the children to be creative both inside and out, testing their skills and knowledge of the world by building dens, climbing trees in a supportive environment and encouraging other physical and cognitive activities. As well as free play, a daily adult led activity is provided which may be a cooking, craft, quizzes, or a sports activity.

Sessions can be booked on an ad hoc basis or book permanently for the entire academic year. all bookings are subject to availability and cancellations require 6 weeks notice to avoid being charged.

Please note that handover will take place at the school gate.  When making your booking, please select the '1st session' ending at 4pm and then your optional collection time i.e. 4.30pm, 5.00pm etc.  If your child is attending a school run activity until 4.15pm you will still need to book the '1st session' with Clubland to secure your session.

For example

my child is attending football until 4.15pm on Tuesday but I will collect him at 5.30pm. So when making my booking with Clubland   select the 1st session till 4pm and then the optional collection time at 5.30pm,

Safety and Security

In line with school policy, all children are escorted to Clubland by members of the teaching staff and a register is taken. We will share with school a daily register of children attending, but as this is not updated automatically we ask that you log onto your account to reflect an absence of attendance or leave  a text message on the site phone.

When you collect your child/ren, you will be required to sign our daily register or during Covid times we will sign out on your behalf provided that you are on the collectors list and we are able to identify you. If you are unknown to staff on collection you will be asked for the password that you nominated on your registration form as a means of identity.

All our Policies and Procedures are available online.
